Crêpes à l'Amlou

Amlou Pancakes

Ingredients :

  • 200 g of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of Amlou (your choice, Amlou'Riginal, Pistachio or Nutty Crunch)
  • A little butter or oil for cooking


Instructions :

  1. Preparation of the pancake batter:

    • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar and pinch of salt.
    • Add the eggs, then gradually pour in the milk, whisking until you obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.
    • Add the melted butter and mix well.
  1. Cooking the pancakes:

    • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
    • Pour a small amount of batter into the hot pan and tilt the pan to distribute the batter evenly.
    • Cook the crepe for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown and slightly crispy around the edges.
    • Repeat with the remaining dough.
  2. Assembly :

    • Once your pancakes are ready, spread a tablespoon of Amlou on each still-hot pancake.
    • You can add fresh fruit (like bananas, strawberries or figs) for extra freshness and flavor.
    • Fold or roll the crepes, then serve immediately.

Trick :

For an even richer taste, you can lightly warm the Amlou before spreading it on the pancakes.
